Stay "Available" in chat apps
Microsoft Teams, Slack, Skype, Google Chat, Webex — they all flip you to Away after a few idle minutes. Set the timeout just under their threshold and stay green while you read, think or take a call.
Mousekeeper records a click sequence you choose — one spot or twenty — and replays it whenever your PC has been idle for as long as you decide. Keep Teams, Slack or Skype showing you as available, stop remote sessions from timing out, keep a dashboard awake, or automate any repeating click.
Anything that watches your mouse to decide whether you're "there" can be kept happy. A few of the ways people use Mousekeeper:
Microsoft Teams, Slack, Skype, Google Chat, Webex — they all flip you to Away after a few idle minutes. Set the timeout just under their threshold and stay green while you read, think or take a call.
Remote Desktop, Citrix, VPN clients and web portals log you out after a period of inactivity. A gentle click every few minutes keeps the session open while you work in another window.
Wall monitors, ops dashboards, digital signage and demo PCs that keep dimming or locking? Point Mousekeeper at a harmless corner and the screen stays on.
Games that kick idle players, long uploads that pause when the PC sleeps, trading or monitoring tools with an inactivity logout — replay a click before the clock runs out.
Refresh a page, dismiss a recurring pop-up, click "keep me signed in", advance a slideshow. Record the clicks once, in order, and they replay whenever you step away.
Five seconds or five hours. Presets for the common cases (1 min, 4 min 45 s for Teams, 10 min, 30 min) or type any number of seconds you like.
Three minutes to set up. Once.
Click Record sequence, then click each spot on your screen in the order you want — a blank bit of desktop, a chat window, a "refresh" button, anything. Press Esc when you're done. Use Test run to watch it play back.
Choose how long your PC should be idle before the sequence runs. Pick a preset or type any number of seconds. It only ever runs when you're genuinely not touching the mouse or keyboard.
The window tucks itself into the system tray. From then on, whenever you go idle for that long, your clicks replay and your PC stays active. Right-click the tray icon to stop.
No hacks into other apps. Just real, OS-level mouse input — the same thing your hand does.
Mousekeeper moves the cursor and clicks exactly where you recorded, and nowhere else. It never types, never injects keystrokes, never touches another app's internals.
It uses Windows' own idle timer. While you're typing or moving the mouse it does nothing at all. The moment you've been idle for your timeout, it acts once, then waits again.
No account needed to run, no telemetry. Your licence is verified on your PC with a cryptographic signature — the app never sends us anything about you. It only downloads our anonymous list of revoked licences once a day, and keeps working if it can't.
One click hides it away. Right-click the tray icon to show the window, stop, or quit. It doesn't add itself to Windows startup unless you ask.
Compiled native app, well under 1% CPU. The installer is code-signed so Windows knows exactly who it came from.
One payment. Licence issued automatically the moment Stripe confirms it. Lose the file or get a new PC? Your account has it, forever.
